All About Me!
Jill Lese, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD
I am a NLA-, DTTC- and PROMPT-trained speech-language pathologist with a love of learning and a passion for play. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Master's degree in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University. I have experience working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses, including Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Articulation/Phonology Disorders, Mixed Expressive/Receptive Language Disorders, cognitive disabilities, and feeding challenges. While I have worked in private practice, schools, and Early Intervention, my true passion lies treating in the home. I thrive on family connections and pride myself on the relationships I develop with my clients. There is rarely a session where I am not heard singing or seen dancing!

Our Philosophy
At Early Bird Speech, we believe that play and connection are the foundation for successful communication. Each session is conducted in the child's most natural setting, using their toys, surroundings, and familiar communication partners. We are passionate about partnering with families throughout the treatment process and view parents, siblings, and caregivers as equal members of the child's therapeutic team.
Early Bird Speech is a neurodiversity-affirming practice that celebrates children's differences and embraces their special interests. Through curiosity and creativity, we utilize a strengths-based approach to help your child build the skills they need to thrive. We understand that progress is not always linear and therefore, strive to create a dynamic learning environment that will evolve with your child's needs.
