How do I know if my child needs
speech and language therapy?
Your child may be eligible for a speech and language evaluation if they exhibit one or more of the following traits:

Limited number of words and word combinations in their expressive language repertoire

Difficulty understanding basic concepts or following directions

They are difficult to understand, have speech sound errors, and/or have trouble planning oral movements for speech

Difficulty playing with others and/or socializing with peers

Restricted diet, picky eater, or sensory sensitivities during mealtimes
